Tucking You in with Yoga Nidra (Audio)
Yoga Nidra is known as Yogic Sleep. It’s a relaxation technique that I find highly effective!
During Yoga Nidra you’ll take on, Savasana, the final pose of yoga practice that is often referred to as corpse pose or do-nothing pose. It involves lying on your back, relaxing your mind, and being with what is in the present moment.
Once in this position instructors will often guide through physical relaxation techniques and move into guided imagery and sensation. After leading one of these sessions I often hear that people cannot believe how deeply restoring it was.
Wanna try?
This particular Yoga Nidra recording is dedicated to sending you straight off to a land of deep slumber and sweet dreams. I’ll be recording some others that will allow you to get right back at it in the day time world, but this one is not for that! Be prepared to doze off for a good nap or even for the night.
So get situated and do the things you need to do before you go to sleep. Cozy up in your bed and lie on your back with your arms and legs flopped open. Invite in relaxation in your body. Imagine someone is about to give you a great big gift that you are tremendously happy to receive. Let your heart open to that joy.
